PILOT PRIVACY NOTICE
This notice explains how the local RaceCraft Moto pilot handles rider information in plain Australian English.
What the pilot records
RaceCraft may record your rider name or alias and body weight, motorcycle identity, capacity and wet weight, front and rear tyre details, pressure readings and measurement states, warmer use, session date and number, circuit layout, weather observations, manually measured track-surface temperature, rider feedback, wear terms and analysis evidence.
Location and weather
GPS permission is requested only after you select Use GPS Location. Coordinates are used for that weather request and are not intentionally retained by this pilot. If permission is refused, Queensland Raceway is used. Internet weather is attributed to its provider and is never labelled as track temperature.
On-device storage and cloud synchronisation
Sessions are saved immediately to IndexedDB in your browser. An offline queue retains unsynchronised changes and retries when a connection returns. When you are signed in, authorised data synchronises to PostgreSQL and can hydrate another signed-in device. Revision and conflict records prevent a newer server record being silently overwritten.
Exports, deletion and media
You may request a portable export or account deletion. During this pilot, deletion creates a durable pending request; it is not immediate. Private media remains owner-scoped and must not be placed in a public cache or bucket. When tyre-photo analysis is enabled, a reduced copy of the selected private image is sent from the RaceCraft server to the configured image-analysis provider solely to produce a provisional surface observation. Provider and model versions are recorded with the evidence.
Pilot limitations
RaceCraft provides decision-support observations, not a mechanical or tyre diagnosis. Missing information reduces what the analysis can say. The service is a Queensland Raceway pilot and may change as testing continues.
